Terms & Conditions

Hangout Co. Events:

 

When you grab a ticket or join a Hangout Co. event, here’s what you’re agreeing to:

  1. Tickets – All sales depend on availability.

  2. Changes – Sometimes we may need to tweak small details (like venue or time), but we’ll always give you a heads-up.

  3. Refunds – Our Refund Policy applies (see Refund Policy page).

  4. Safety & Belongings – You’re responsible for yourself and your belongings. We can’t take responsibility for lost items or personal injury unless it’s directly due to our negligence.

  5. Respect – We’re big on good vibes and safe spaces. Disruptive or harmful behavior may result in removal without a refund.

Our goal is simple: keep things fun, respectful, and memorable for everyone.

Hangout Co. Studio:

When you purchase from Hangout Co. Studio, here’s what applies:

​

Availability:

  • All items are subject to availability. Some are limited edition and made in small batches, so once they’re gone, they may not be restocked.

​Payment:

  • Full payment is required at checkout. We currently accept card payments through Yoco. Other payment methods such as EFT may be arranged on request. Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR).

Orders & Shipping:

  • Each product is handmade and made to order. Please allow 5 to 7 working days for your order to be created and 2 to 4 working days for delivery, depending on your location. You’ll receive tracking details once your order is shipped.

​Delivery & Delays:

  • Delivery times may vary due to courier delays, holidays, or other factors outside our control. We will always communicate any issues and assist you where we can.

Refunds & Returns:

  • Our Refund Policy applies to all Studio orders (see Refund Policy page).

Design Variations:

  • Because each product is handmade, slight variations in design, colour, or finish may occur. This adds to the uniqueness of every item.

Respect & Conduct:

  • We aim to maintain a positive, supportive environment for all customers and creators connected to Hangout Co. Studio. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders if necessary in cases of disrespectful or harmful conduct.

Design Rights:

  • All products under Hangout Co. Studio are designed and created by us, using a mix of original artwork and licensed graphics. Certain graphics or elements are licensed from third-party providers (e.g., Canva) and used in accordance with their licensing agreements. Products are not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party brands or franchises.

Digital Products:

​

1. Nature of Digital Products:

  • All digital items sold on this website (including templates, guides, workbooks, PDFs, and downloadable files) are intangible, instantly delivered, and non-returnable.

2. No Refunds or Exchanges:

  • ​Because digital products cannot be “returned,” all digital product sales are final.

  • Once payment is completed and the download link has been sent or accessed, no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be permitted.

3. Delivery of Digital Files:

Upon successful payment, you will receive:

  • An email containing your download link, or

  • Immediate access to your files via your account/downloads page (where applicable).
    If you do not receive your product within 30 minutes, please contact us so we can assist.

4. License & Usage Rights:

  • When purchasing a digital product, you are buying a personal-use license, not ownership of the content.

  • You may:

✔ Download and use the product for your own personal or business use.

  • You may NOT:

✘ Share, resell, redistribute, or gift the files to anyone else.
✘ Claim the product or design as your own.
✘ Use the product in any way that violates copyright laws.

5. Technical Issues:

  • We cannot guarantee that digital products will be compatible with all devices, software, or operating systems.

  • If you have a technical issue accessing your files, we will assist with troubleshooting, but this does not qualify for a refund.

6. Incorrect Purchases:

  • Please ensure that you review the product description carefully before purchasing.

We are not responsible for accidental purchases of:

  • The wrong item,

  • Duplicate items, or

  • Products that do not meet your personal preferences.

7. Updates to Digital Products:

  • If a digital product is updated after your purchase, you may receive the updated version at no additional cost (at our discretion). We are not obligated to update older versions indefinitely.
